The “Empty Void” series draws from the symbolism of a circle as an image of wholeness and unity.
When gazing into one of these works from the “Threshold Thoughts” series, one notices that the image changes and disappears based on the angle of viewing it. My hair appears submerged in acrylic in compositions of grids. I use colors based on figments and residue from my experiences, for the "Sensory Thresholds" series.
